Common Questions
My labels are printing misaligned. How do I fix it?
Go to Settings inside the app and adjust the Print Offset X / Y values. Start with small increments (±0.5 mm) until labels align with your label stock.
Can I use LabelForge with my Dymo / Zebra / Brother printer?
Yes. LabelForge generates a standard PDF that you open and print from any application. In your print dialog, set paper size to match your label stock and disable page scaling ("Actual size" / 100%).
My product doesn't have a barcode. What happens?
LabelForge automatically generates an EAN-13 barcode in the GS1 in-store range (prefix 200) and remembers it for future prints. You can also scan this generated barcode with a USB scanner.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Billing → Apps. Find LabelForge and click Cancel. You won't be charged again and your data is kept until you uninstall.
What barcode formats are supported?
Free plan: Code 128, Code 39. Starter and above: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF-14, QR Code.
Can I export my label templates?
Templates are stored as JSON in our database. We plan to add import/export in a future update. Contact support if you need your template data.
