LabelForge Terms of Service

Effective date: March 31, 2026

These terms govern use of LabelForge as a Shopify app for creating, configuring, and printing barcode label PDFs from merchant catalog data.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using LabelForge ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

LabelForge is a Shopify application that allows merchants to design label templates, generate barcode and price labels, and produce print-ready PDF files for their products and variants.

3. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store and comply with Shopify's Terms of Service to use the App.

4. Plans and Billing

The App offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify's billing system. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice.

  • Free: Up to 50 labels/month, 3 templates.
  • Starter ($6.99/month): Up to 500 labels/month, unlimited templates, all barcode formats.
  • Growth ($14.99/month): Unlimited labels, order-based printing, CSV import, custom sizes.
  • Pro ($29.99/month): Everything in Growth plus API access and white-label printing.

Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time from Shopify Admin → Settings → Billing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App to generate counterfeit barcodes or labels.
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits through technical means.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the App without our written permission.
  • Use the App in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Label templates you create are yours. We do not claim ownership over your content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated labels will be accepted by any particular scanner or system.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your Shopify admin. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email.
